Oh! freedom

Corruption is a lingering issue and it behaves like an old break-up story whenever any institutions or individual have tried bringing it out on the spotlight. We do want it out of the system but we all are  naive  when its time to paint the suspect out in open. It is a rooted germ and proposes an overwhelming danger of dragging and washing our soiled linen in public laundry. A society like the one in India is not ready for a frontal confrontation neither are those countries where we recently saw some upsurges. If we closely look for an analysis, the Indian society is not a uniform one and only the natural corollary of rich history and culture bonds the diversity. So, India should not even think about Tahrir Square like revolution. Why? India has a very functional democracy, though I agree that there are loop holes but it is like a curable disease and we just need a visit to the doctor*. So you do not need a revolution; rather a systematic approach which starts from ...

The friend I lost

I still have the image; well those reminiscences are a distant past Though the memory are as fresh as the aroma of a filter coffee All I remember is the linger of being left in a limbo I have cried and blamed the friend for all my fall Once in a while, I see him smile on my back

Oh! My Love

The debate on the declining stature of One day cricket circling the press and news channel are intriguing as well as ludicrous for people who have religiously followed the game. I still remember the time when ODIs with its coloured clothing, field restrictions and day/night games suddenly captured cricket lover's imagination. It sparked a debate back then that it will slowly kill Test cricket. However, it has been more than two decades and Test cricket is still amazingly competitive and watchable and regarded by many former and current players as the epitome of cricketing skill test. A game reduced to 20 overs for each side added with rules to attract fast food fans who wants to watch a keen contest at an amazingly fast speed. For others, watching their stars and a game that took just little above three hours was an attractive advantage. It has since then achieved such an acceptance that man...

The Seperation

I have never thought this before The faint idea though has at times given me the chill I am in a pursuit to prove my entire adversary wrong How much I gain that will be a story I will have to tell So the surge continue crushing unsure smile I hope there is no remorse for the chances that I never took The separation is a word I hate to use And worse, it is so hard to live with

First the last

I cannot help but to thank For so many things, and some for humiliation You have led and have taught and constructed I appreciate However, I feel there is a lack of vision At times which seems a lot pretentious The root to solidity is to respect the foot And when you have great power you do need a stronger root Not a blame game to play I would have responded Have I given up the will to breath You have all the goodness and I bet most are right I guess you didn’t see the picture through my perspective

Long leave...

It seems to be the calmness before the storm I am relaxed yet deep down there is an adrenalin rush Mutuality has closed in when the seams are tearing apart There is apparent fear of losing what never was mine The venerability of aspiration has knotted the extra weight There is a desire to assort but now that it beats in tandem It is a difficult walk to the shore

2011

As another year comes to an end, we are again set to greet the knowingly unknown In fraction, we rewind and capture the tears and the smiles Hopefully at this crossroad, we all will make our own alters
