At the Basement

It feels good to be back

It is like resuming an old flight

You are in a comfort zone, although some appliances are new

The changes are almost bearable when you see the amount of water that has passed through the bridge

I am a kid with the same anxiety as ever, to be at the basement, to do what friends do, together

When you read the thread you realise although thin and at times tangled, the connections are rooted

The place continues to bring out smiles, conversation and most importantly the feeling of being home

At this juncture there is a need of an identity, the feeling of having a cushion when you fall

There is no guarantee but it makes things in life so much easier

You will continue to walk for the companion

And I believe many of us will resume the flight again

Till then adios ------- Kamal
